Veterans’ month brings the savings bond and recruitment posters, uniforms, reminders of “Rosie the Riveter” and the “War Bride”, rationing, victory gardens, and vintage radio broadcasts  of FDR’s  “ Day of Infamy ”  and Eisenhower’s  “ Declaration  of  Victory ”.
